Original 1st printing 17 x 22&3/4" concert poster for the Mothers of Invention (featuring Frank Zappa) appearing with Alice Cooper and the Guess Who at the Seattle Center Arena in Seattle, WA on 4/19/1969.
Art by John Moehring, image is pictured in "Split Fountain Hieroglyphics" (2023 edition) on page 207 (SFH 167)
Medium-thick "pebble" textured glossy-coated index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there are a pair of surface pulls in the lower left/right margins (on the "e" of "Mothers" and on the "e" of "Alice and the "C" of "Cooper"), along with a series of semi-soft horizontal roll/stress bends hiding within the image area (mostly visible on the reverse), a few soft surface scuffs here and there and a decent-sized set of tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise OK.
Conditional issues aside, the colors/design on this piece are nothing short of AWESOME... one of the best-looking late-'60's Zappa concert posters, I get asked about this one ALL THE TIME- this is the first example I have been able to offer up.
