Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 7/15-16/1966* (shows were canceled).
 
 Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley (with the central image borrowed from Franz (Von) Stuck), image is # 17A in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
 
 Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; really nothing more than a few negligible soft handling dings hiding within the image area and a VERY thin approximately 3" horizontal bend extending from about 9:00 on the oval out to the right margin, otherwise it is a pretty clean example overall.
